Villa Cosy

Munkebo, Denmark

The villa is completely hidden in the forest, with a large garden to one side and direct access to the water to the other side. There is therefore complete isolation from everything and everyone, providing the best setting for relaxation and quality time with family or friends.

The villa is located on the island Fyn which is the middle island of Denmark. There are countless amazing restaurants and charming towns nearby to explore during the stay.

The villa has a large outside dining area and a Weber charcoal grill as well. However if the weather does not allow outside dining, retreat to the fireplace cabin to cook over open fire instead. Or to roast those marshmallows after dinner and get that true summer cabin and ”cosy” feeling.

The layout of the house

The villa consists of two floors, the top floor comprising of the four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The lower floor comprises of the open plan kitchen and living area, and a utility room.

Master bedroom: king size bed
Second and third bedroom: queen size bed
Fourth bedroom: double bed and baby crib possible.

In the largest bathroom the bathtub is located right next to a floor to ceiling window, creating astonishing views. A Sonos speaker is connected in the same bathroom as well, to regulate the music while enjoying the relaxing bath. Both bathrooms also feature a large walk in rainshower.

The villa is installed with all of the latest technologies such as: SONOS music system, Chromecast TV, and Philips HUE smart lighting system.

Location

The nearest town to the villa is Munkebo, only a few minutes driving. 15 km from the villa lays Odense, a lovely city and also the place where H.C. Andersens old house can be visited.

A little south of the villa lies Egeskov Slot, a castle that is Europe’s best-preserved island fort and definitely worth a visit. Another fun day out is a visit to Odense Zoo, which is only a 25 minute drive from the villa.
